The internal organization of SJT Venlo BV is deeply rooted in the principle of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We attach great importance to our responsibility towards both people and the environment.
We believe that this not only contributes to the long-term success of our business, but is also essential for creating a sustainable future for our employees, customers and partners.
Sustainability and ethical responsibility
SJT Venlo BV is proud to receive the silver medal from EcoVadis, confirming our commitment to sustainability. We have strict ethical standards, including offering a confidential counsellor and implementing an anti-bribery policy and whistleblowing policy. This is just one part of our broader commitment to sustainability and responsibility within our organisation.
Collaboration and sustainable innovation
We work with partners who also actively promote sustainability. Within our daily operations, we focus on minimizing empty kilometers, optimizing cargo space occupancy and using alternative fuels. For example, we already use HVO100 diesel, which results in a reduction of our ecological footprint by no less than 90%. In addition, SJT Venlo BV participates in the hydrogen consortium, organized by our energy supplier Vissers Energy Group, to continue working together towards a greener future. Sustainability is an ongoing process for us and we are constantly improving to make a positive impact on the environment.
